# 💻 8th Wall Desktop App (Beta) is now live!

Our Desktop app is now in public beta for MacOS and Windows. You’ve been asking for it, and now you can build with 8th Wall right from your own machine.

**What developers can do now**  
🛠 **Build locally, stay cloud connected** — Work from your favorite code editor (VS Code or others), use your local setup, and keep your projects synced with 8th Wall Studio.  
⚡ **Live updating and previewing** — Save changes to local files and see them reflected right away for faster iteration. Run and preview your projects with an integrated local server running right on your machine.  
🎨 **Seamless asset integration** — Refine 3D models in Blender, Maya, or other tools and keep everything linked without extra uploading or downloading.  
🤝 **Team friendly collaboration** — Sync changes to the cloud so you and your team can move between desktop and web editing while staying in sync.
