# 8thwall tiny url in facebook post loads a blank project?

paid for an add on Facebook and LinkedIn and both when someone clicks the url it keeps refreshing the 8thwall project and it’s white… we had to take down our adds. How can we fix this?

Can you please share more details on the project, like the framework (Studio, A-Frame, etc) and feature set (3D only, face effects, etc)? A link to the project would also be helpful!

I’m using the classic editor,  
it’s aframe  
facial tracking

it works great from our mailout link. But when we made a post on Instagram the link wouldn’t open and just go white.

I think has to do with when you click a link on FB or instagram you are taken to the link via a FB/instagram “browser” and this causes issue with the 8thwallplayer??

Want to do some social media posts but using a QR code is only good for people on desktop, someone on mobile need to click a link…

Any help is muchly appreciated

I believe I was able to reproduce the issue in the Instagram WebView - the screen seems to go white after accepting permissions. This does seem to be specific to your project though, I can launch one of our basic face effect sample projects as expected: [A-Frame: Face Effects | 8th Wall | 8th Wall](https://www.8thwall.com/8thwall/face-effects-aframe)

I would recommend connecting your device to your computer and [use native browser dev tools](https://8cademy.notion.site/Using-Browser-Dev-Tools-9b342c68d03e4998a53af63ce10388bf) to see if there are any errors in the console the moment the app seems to crash.
