# Custom VPS Location

The documentation and official tutorials point out that it is possible to create a custom VPS location with a custom private scan. But I wasn’t able to figure out how to do this within the cloud editor. Is there any tutorial or guide I can follow to add a custom VPS location using the Niantic Studio web engine?

Hi!

Private VPS locations require a [Pro Plan](https://www.8thwall.com/pricing). Once you’ve subscribed you’ll be able to create private VPS locations by following [this guide.](https://www.8thwall.com/docs/studio/guides/xr/vps/#create-new-vps-enabled-locations)
