# How to animate UI button's scale/ size from code or component in Studio?

I want to have pop-up animation for my UI Button in the 8th Wall Studio. How to do that? Scale Animation component is not working for this.

I found the solution. Using [Custom Property Animation](https://www.8thwall.com/docs/api/studio/ecs/animation/custom-property-animation/) for animating the UI components.
