# Qr code to link Scaniverse to 8th wall account - not working

Hi,

Im trying to link my Scaniverse data with 8th wall account and am unable to do so.

I follow these [steps](https://www.8thwall.com/docs/guides/lightship-vps/scanning/) however when scanning the qr code to link, I receive a ‘something went wrong’ page with client version 1e74fbe6

Info below on error codes.

Im signed in with Scaniverse and 8th Wall with the same email address.  
Scan created using splat - should of this been mesh as per other forum?[Scan not on the studio map, Why?](https://forum.8thwall.com/t/scan-not-on-the-studio-map-why/3706)
