# Scan not on the studio map, Why?

I’ve scanned and made the scan public but I don’t t see it on the studio map

Hi! Welcome to the forums!
Making a scan and submitting a location are different. In order for your location to show up in the Geospatial Browser you have to go through the location activation process.

Aha! Thnx. I can only submit a location with a mesh not with splat? and may I use the scan from the library or I have to rescan?

Unfortunately you’ll have to rescan since you can’t submit splats.
