# Special characters in Studio UI

Hi, welcome to the forums!

Currently the UI system in Studio only supports ASCII characters. [You can use HTML and CSS in Studio](https://forum.8thwall.com/t/is-html-css-and-studio-recommended/4870/2) however you won’t be able to do it with 3D UI elements, only overlay.
