# Stop sliding

I am having issue to stop sliding of my model around background.  
I need to lock of foot football player on the ground. How can I do it?

Hello @Chris_Parks I would first verify that the bottom of yourr 3D model is positioned at y=0 if it is below this can cause the illusion of drifiting with your 3D model.

You can verify this by using our debug mode

And turning on the detected surfce and verifying that your 3D model isn’t below the purple detected surface.
