# \[Studio\] Ui Element Issues

Hi all
I am having so many challenges working with UI elements, I am wondering if it is something I am doing wrong.
At the moment I am currently experiencing the following challenges:
- If I create a UI element with some text, it is not displayed in the editor (expected) not in the simulator.
- If I add an image the image is displayed on the simulator and the editor but the text is not
- If I add a UI element and set it as overlay instead of 3d it is not visible in the editor nor on the simulator
- 3D UI elements behave like they are positioned absolute, the Ui doesn’t follow the camera movement and it is not placed in the world - when this happens the button is not clickable
Apart from that the simulator itself behave very strangely:
- quite often half of the time starts totally black and throw and invalid appKey error, when that happens I have to logout and login again to make the simulator restart properly (the appKey error remains). This happened already twice in the last 30 mins
- when everything loads correctly (it is 1 ui element and a VPS location), 7 out of 10 times the simulator restart after I click the UI elment. This seems connected to the appKeyt issue some how
I am not sure what other info I could give but I am happy to provide more details if they can help

Try using Google Chrome instead. Brave’s strict security settings can interfere with Studio, which requires certain permissions to function correctly.
