Most tutorials seem to be pro oriented, I was wondering if it’s possible to fully learn and have a good portfolio piece with the basic subscription and use pro for when I get client work.
Can anyone suggest a good way to start learning?

I have the same thought. Although even with a basic plan I am struggling to even write simple components let alone work with pro plan templates. Good luck
I wish they had the trial thing for pro.
Good luck to you too :>
Hi all!
We understand the need for more educational content, and we’re actively working on it.
Thank you for your patience!
Looks like it. Even the forum is quite inactive.
The worse is: when you try to search online for someone explaining any topic, all that you see in the results seems to be “Marketing Material”. Kind of flood of these materials and not many knowledge sharing.
I’m 2 months now, trying to work in the Studio in order to be able to enter the “Challenge” but it is almost impossible to start developing by ourselves. I’m afraid I will not be able to finish nothing until the deadline although I really wanted to. It shouldn’t be that hard considering I’ve worked in similar tools in the past, but these one really lacks of educational content.
I don’t seem to be aware of this Challenge. What is it about? What tools were you working with in the past? I just got the pro in hopes of having a better experience while learning.
There is a Create & Play Challenge up until the final of the month. But it is for Niantic Studio creators (what I think it is the basic plan, not the pro one). I was talking about Snap Studio, where I have some AR projects running for free.
See what I was telling you?
I’ve created new topics asking for help in some different questions regarding the 8th Wall, but never got a decent reply to the issues it selves. All that I got were replies telling me what the tool cannot do and how I can’t do this or that with this tool. Actually I never got an answer trying to explain how could I achieve what I want, using the features that the tool has.
I have questions in the Forum that are around a week with no answer or interactions.
Even when you asked about the challenge, that should be something that their staff or active members would be interested on sharing or clarifying, no one answered you but me, an aspiring newcomer, that knows nothing about the platform.
I think having the pro plan is what helps when it comes to this.
