Hand tracking on TV

Hi! Super random question but I’m trying to design an activation.

I want to connect a raspberry pi3 that has a webcam connected to a web desktop experience that I can use with hand tracking and then the image is put into the TV.

I want to use hand tracking not on a phone is this possible?

Thank you very much

You can certainly use Hand Tracking on desktop/laptop as long as you have allowedDevices set to any

Try out this project, for example:

I don’t have access to a Raspberry Pi right now to test, but assuming it’s browser can properly detect and open the attached USB Camera, I don’t see why it shouldn’t work…

So cool! just checking this right now! Thanks for the real life proof! xD love it!

would connect it to the computer would compromise performance? example the hardware of raspi vs mac book pro.

thanks!

The mac book pro will certainly have better processing power and memory compared the raspi

That’s not to say that the Raspberry Pi isn’t good enough. Just like comparing an older phone to a newer one, I’d expect to see better frame rates, ability to load more assets at once, etc, on newer hardware. If you have access to a Raspberry Pi, I’d suggest trying our sample project and letting us know how things perform!
