Hi,
Hoping someone can help - I’ve got a Studio scene set up with an audio manager object. Its script can generate new entities with Audio components attached, that fire off singular sound effects & clean themselves up using a timeout function. It also sets the background music, which loops continuously & has its volume changed as needed.
I’ve found an issue where if I run multiple sound effects at once, I eventually get severe audio crackling, and in some cases new audio effects will fail to play altogether (the existing background music still plays, but crackles all throughout). I’ve noticed that if I only play the BGM with no SFX, it seems to work fine. If I disable the BGM and not SFX, I eventually get the same crackling issue, though not as soon as I would with the BGM on. It seems like firing off multiple SFX over top of each other will cause this issue, regardless of their volumes. Any suggestions on how to manage this?
