Targets on a poster that become hotspots or points of interest

I am interested in creating an AR experience where the phone camera would recognize a poster in our museum and then display a series of hotspots that could offer information about details of the poster. Is 8th Wall a good platform for making this. Has anyone done this and can share an example.

This is totally do-able on 8th Wall and we have a number of Sample Projects to get you started quickly.
