Dear 8th Wall Team,
We are planning to develop a WebAR virtual try-on experience for a client’s T-shirt collection and are interested in using your platform.
Project Overview:
We need to create a browser-based AR experience where users can:
Select a Size: Users will choose their desired size from a selection menu on a webpage.
View 3D Garments: The selected T-shirt (3D model) will be overlaid on the user’s live camera view within the browser.
360-Degree Viewing: Users should be able to move and rotate to see the 3D garment from all angles.
Clean Background: We plan to use background replacement to create a clean, studio-like environment.
Device Compatibility: The experience must work seamlessly on iPads and smart mirrors.
Digital Showroom (Optional): We may also want to include a digital showroom feature for browsing the collection.
No Body Tracking: The client specifically requested that this experience not be body tracking based.
Use Case:
This WebAR experience will be used at a roadshow event to allow potential customers to virtually try on the T-shirts before purchasing.
Questions:
Based on the project overview, is 8th Wall a suitable platform for this type of experience?
Are there any specific limitations or considerations we should be aware of regarding 3D model rendering and 360-degree viewing within 8th Wall?
Which 8th Wall pricing plan would be most appropriate for our needs, considering the potential number of users and the duration of the roadshow? (The roadshow will start on May 5th, with 9 events in Hannover & Bonn).
Are there any best practices or recommended workflows for achieving this level of 3D garment visualization and user interaction within 8th Wall?
We would appreciate any guidance and recommendations you can provide.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Sincerely,
Psalmuel Studios.
