Hey 8th wall team, I had an idea for a feature and was wondering if its doable/ if you guys have thought of it/ if its possible now. I’m working on a small project in which i want to “scan” an object, for example; a Rubiks cube, and then add an enhanced mixed reality experience. My currently solution is to use image tracking instead, take pictures of the Rubiks cube/ object from multiple angles and then place the AR experience on top of the image tracker.
I know this is somewhat done with VPS but that’s bound to a permanent location on Earth.
What im basically curious about is the same as Image tracking but for a 3D object instead of a 2D image.
Just a thought/ question for the 8th Wall team.
