Difficulty using different 3d / glb model for Inworld Ai

Hey guys, I’m not able to import a custom glb model from Inworld itself, does anyone have an idea? The API integration is working, and my character has the same knowledge base as the one in my inworld studio, the only issue is the 3d model itself.

anyone? does this even work anymore?

Hi, I’d be happy to help!

Can you provide more information? Where are you getting the 3d model from? Where are you trying to import it? What type is it?

Appreciate you getting back to me. So, the 3d model is a glb file, I got it from inworld itself, it’s the google storage one that is hosted on the cloud by inworld. I also then uploaded it to 8th wall’s editor (to access it locally), yet I’m not able too. The loading position constantly remains on 0%… as per the pic. I just need a simple way to use the custom characters, I must be missing something simple :))

Help please? We’re at a critical stage in client work.

Hi! The image isn’t showing up.

Are you able to share the project with the support workspace? That way I can take a look.

I shared with: 8th Wall

Hopefully will be fine.

Hi

I fixed your project, your config file had some minor syntax errors in it, along with the wrong link to the Draco compression library.

Make sure to sync to get my changes.

Hi, it’s not fixed from my end, even after synching the errors. When I go to choose the RPM model, nothing loads. Please take another look?

Hello @GeorgeButler any idea?

Hi, I was able to fix the mannequin model, but I’m still unable to determine why the Ready Player Me assets aren’t loading. This issue seems more related to the inWorld configuration file, so it might be better addressed in their forums.

From what I can tell, it looks like you need to provide a URL pointing to the assets folder where the RPM assets are located. However, despite trying this approach, I couldn’t get it to work.

I’ve tried that, they aren’t answering. Are you still working with them? I want a refund, this has been a terrible waste of both of our times.

I’ll reach out to our team to identify our point of contact with inWorld. It’s unacceptable for you to encounter this much trouble with their provided projects or modules. I’ve already canceled your subscription and issued a refund.

If you have any further issues or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’ll personally ensure they’re addressed.
