Hi everyone! I’m working on a small AR project and I need help completing one very specific thing.
I already have a scanned 3D model in .glb format, and I want to display it in augmented reality directly through a phone’s camera, using WebAR (no apps). My goal is:
• To open a link on any phone (iOS or Android)
• That link should instantly open the camera
• And the user should see the 3D object in AR, placed in the real world (like floating in front of them or on a surface)
Hi, welcome to the forums!
Check out this video I posted yesterday.
Don’t forget to land and publish.
Thanks, George! Do you happen to know if there’s a way to create a link that, when someone opens it, immediately launches their phone camera to view the object in AR? I’m planning to apply this concept in restaurants, so the experience needs to be as simple and straightforward as possible.
When you land and publish your project you just need to share the project QR code from the project dashboard. It should just open the camera once the user visits the link.
