Landing issue

Hi there,

Studio overall works charms, but I’m suddenly having trouble landing a project.

If I connect a device, it displays latest changes as expected, so the build-part works.

The Land+publish part however, doesn’t lead to these changes in the published version.

Also the land-button keeps being green, eventhough it indicates, that the land is succesful.

I tried several browsers as well - same result.

If I unpublish and then publish the project again (after the apparently non-functioning land), it also displays a previous version.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you very much

Hi, welcome to the forum!

Could you check the Project History to confirm whether anything has actually been landed?

Also, are you making sure to enter a commit message and then press the Land Files button? You can find step-by-step instructions in this guide:

Hi George,

Thank you for replying.

The project history confirms that nothing actually lands.

Land and publish buttons are grayed out as long as no note is written - so notes are written every time I attempt landing.

No breakthtough Reading the publish section of docs, unfortunately.

I’m happy to provide you with any other information you might need.

Thank you very much.

Can you share the project with the support workspace so I can take a look?

Sure, invite for 8th Wall support is sent

I went ahead and unpublished the public project, then republished it. It looks like everything is working as expected now. This may have been a bug with the publishing flow. Please take a look and let me know if you notice anything unusual.

Thank you for the help.

It’s exactly the same as before, though.

The changes made in project still won’t land/publish. No updates in the project history either.

Let’s follow up on Discord for faster back and forth. I’ll update the thread once we figure out the issue.
