I hope all the team is doing great! Loving the support to the community given, kudos! - Hey so you from time to time I wonder a topic I dont talk about much.
But I want to speak about it today and ask about it because I can not keep wonder.
So… what happened with the Niantic VPS REady MR Glasses that had a Qualcom chip? The one with amazing demos, that capture my imagionation and made me keep pushing to become an 8thwall developer.
I’m wondering if this was just a hint or maybe is a project that wont come to light? Either way, I wonder, why dont we have pokemons we can catch with MR Glasses, or giant robot fights over the city, and many more experiences.
So I’m wondering what happened with that project anyway, it hyped me as no other device, because hold the promise that maybe as a developer I could anchor experiences around the city and later visit them the interact with them.
That is something traditional AR can never give me.
So besides bringing this topic to the table I wanted to propose that maybe Studio could be the way to develop / create experiences to the Glasses. That could be a reality changer. I’m willing to pay like 1500usd max 2000usd. But not 3500usd for a MR glasses.
Please consider share some news about this project that could take 8thwall and maybe Niantic Spatial developers to new dimensions.
