Hi there! I carelessly seemed to have deleted the wrong file!!! I will need to recover it, is there any way? For context- Iβm making this for something that is going out to print and so I had to give the QR code beforehand. Luckily, the link for the project can still stay the same as the old one doesnt exist due to deletion, but can I recover the code in any way possible? It hasnt been published, ive been testing it only i n preview mode. And will the new link having the same address be a problem in any way? Please let me know. Thanks so much!
Did you previously land any of your changes into source control? If so, you can see the diff from the Project History page.
If not, you could try βRevert to Cloud Saveβ if that file was included in a previous save and build. Or Abandon Changes to revert to the last commit (if the file was landed before - but make sure to copy/paste any working changes so they arenβt also lost)
Ah sorry I wasnt clear in the previous query- I deleted the entire project by mistake thinking I was deleting a duplicate version. Entered DELETE and everything. Is there any way I can retrieve it ? Because reverting to cloud save will work if i was working on the same project, yes?
Gotcha - I understand now that you deleted the project itself, not just a file. Weβll have to investigate further - please email support@8thwall.com, provide your account details such as email address associated, name of the project, etc - Iβll work with the team to try and recover your project. Thanks!
Thank You so much, will do! Just one last thing- Iβm able to open another project with the same link and work on it. If i do continue to work on this, will the previous project that had the same link affect the existing one in any way? If i do continue to build on the new one, can i just host it on the same link without any problems? The link is oceanweekcanada.8thwall.app/save-the-date-for-owc/ if that is of any use
