It sounds like you’re looking for a mini-VPS setup. Your best bet for this would be an Image Target, assuming the user will view it from just one angle.
It needs to be viewed from multiple angles and will overlay a large physical model. The problem I’m finding with objects placed in word space is there’s a drift once they’re placed and the object is moved out/back in to camera view. The most stable example was the A-Frame tap to place cactus project - it definitely had less drift. But I need something that can reliably stay in position.
