VPS: Keep model's position even when camera is moved away from original waypoint marker

Hello everyone!

I am working on a A-Frame VPS experience where the user can “scan” a statue then an AR building appears next to it.
Currently, when i move away from the initial statue to walk into the AR building, I get the “Point Your Camera at ___” pop up.

Is there a way I can just have the user recognize the statue at the start of the experience (just once), and just have that set as the anchor point for the added building?
I want the user to just point at the statue at the start, then be able to explore around that statue’s area (without having the pop up when statue is out of frame, or having it reposition itself)
Is this possible?

Hello , I have tried using VPS by scanning a wall as the VPS object and spawning a 3D model near the VPS object. However, when I look around the object, my camera moves away from the VPS object, requiring me to point the camera back at the VPS object. Is there any way to use SLAM with VPS? Alternatively, if you have any other solutions, I would be grateful to try them. Thank you.

Keep in mind however, that if the user keeps the VPS location in view of the camera it is more likely to anchor the content better. But the above should solve your initial issue
