I was working on a A-frame VPS project. I was trying it on a test wayspot. Unfortunately when I was testing it with my android device, the app didn’t work and only tells me to keep scanning to find the wayspot. I saw the console, and it has an error that said “TypeError: Failed to fetch”.
I use another android device, and this time around the wayspot was able to be scanned and the 3D object pop up.
So I tried some other example project to see if my first android device was capable of webxr. Results being most of any AR experience that requires to scan world / ground does not work. Meanwhile AR experience thats using image/hand tracking works.
The android device spec that did not work for vps are:
