Hey so I have this crazy idea, checking the wayfarer app, there are many Wayspot in the are and only a few VPS
So I was curious to see new VPS I suggested show up.
While doing such thing I realize… what if… Campfire could be used to make the already existing community happening at my city. Mostly users of PokemonGo and only 1 of ingress.
I was thinking… what if a module that connects the 8thwall project, in some way… makes somehow, the game appear in a new tab in campfire that says 8thwall and hopefully another for Lightship.
Where if we the developers add the module, our game that follows the same Raid mechanics, can show up to Niantic games players.
This way, we could have a list of games and experiences that use phone, desktop or VR with cross metaversal and we could start taking advantage of Niantic gamers community to present our games and attempt form a new game communities.
I think one of the hardest part of building is user retention. After the first try you must have a really good reason to make the user come back to your app or experience. But if this platform of campfire is used to showcase developers games and experiences I think more people would know a new type of games powered by Niantic 8thwall or lightship.
I saw groups, raids, routes. The module could have this mechanics… where developer could know or create about this features.
Picture that… making it easier for developers get discovers by gamers at the space of campfire.
Opening campfire that would could be amazing! Geo located games not made by Niantic, also deserves the chance to be discovered.
Why not using this technology that already exist to make people able to discover new games and be a win win for campfire and developers!
