Can't verify VPS scans or activate public locations – need clarification on process

Hello everyone,

We’re currently working on an app that relies on multiple VPS (Visual Positioning System) locations. We’ve tried creating public VPS points by scanning our desired areas, but we’re unable to verify whether the scans were successful or if the locations have been properly registered.

We have a few questions and would appreciate any guidance:

  1. Scan Requirements:
    Does each VPS location need a minimum of 10 scans taken under different lighting conditions and at various times of the day in order to be activated?
  2. Activation Time:
    How long does it usually take after scanning for a location to become active?
  3. Scan Workflow:
    Can we use the Scaniverse mobile app to scan a location and then access it through the Geospatial Browser in the Editor?
    Or is it required to generate a QR code for every location we want to create?
  4. Public Contributions:
    If we create a public VPS location, can other users also contribute by scanning it? For example, can random users help scan the public location shown in our screenshot?
