Customer survey

Was asked to fill in your customer survey, it was not good from UX experience. The logic of how the choices are made is not easy to understand. After about the fifth page I was just clicking radio buttons trying to move forward and eventually quiet. I tried longer than I would with other surveys.

  1. buttons not ledgbly connected to questions, hard to tell what statement was connected to each button.

  2. some of the questions would allow me to pick one choice from left radio to right radio, others when I selected a radio from one question it removed my choice from a previous question.

  3. the meaning of the radio buttons was not visible as I read through the lower questions on each page, making it hard to remember what Iā€™m either liking or disliking. The more difficult it is to understand the survey the more likely the user will just start clicking buttons (messing with your data)

I could offer tons of suggestions but have my work to get done, but my first suggestion would be to just say "out of the five statements check the box of the ones that are most important to you. This would be simple and probably get more people thought the survey before quiting.

thanks Bill! really appreciate the feedback - and appreciate how much time you spent on the survey! This survey is using the MaxDiff methodology, so it works on the methodology of focusing one most and least liked. Definitely can improve how easy it is to use - especially on point 3.
Per point 2, I also found this confusing, if you picked something was most valued (left) then then it could not be picked on the right

let me know if you have further questions!

Hi Megan,

Surveys are hard, you want to keep it as simple as possible so the responses are truthful and not just checking boxes to finish the dam thing.

Not seeing the top of the chart the whole time to indicate what the radio boxes are and then the alignment was kind of wonky, maybe add space between response choices to separate them a little more, would help indicating what radio is connected to center text.

less confusion, more conversion!!
