Hi again ,
I’m using " immersal " point clouds to relocalise ar content in a room …
That has a nice corner with window frames , and unique features. Then a long rectangular space with blank walls without good features ! The relocalisation against the " immersal " point cloud scan works great and its recognized about 99 % of the time …
However , once I move the phone the center point or " origin " will suddenly snap to a different position almost meters away from the original starting point. This happens in the same session without pausing , just moving laterally along the wall. I don’t get the same behaviour in " arkit " and " 8th wall " slam was just updated a few years ago. Be great to fix the " origin " ( eg. 0 , 0 , 0 ) jumping around during an ar session …

Is it possible to set the " slam " update rate ?
To run faster to test stability of content … -
Else might have to try and set " origin " myself …
So its not updated to the wrong position with drift from slam …
Thanks ,
