Issue with Image Tracker + Chroma Key Video

Hello, I’ve just recently started using 8th Wall and I’m planning to create a project using the Image Tracker. My idea is to make a pop-up postcard that, when scanned, shows a 2D character standing on the card with a looping animation.

However, I don’t have much experience with coding, so I’ve been trying to learn from the tutorials and the project library that 8th Wall provides. From what I’ve read on the forum, it seems that 8th Wall doesn’t support GIF playback at the moment. So instead, I thought of using a video file (.mp4) with chromakey to remove the green screen (I referenced this: Studio: Chromakey Video | 8th Wall | 8th Wall ).

But when I dragged the video layer as a child of the Image Target, instead of showing the video, it displayed a black rectangle. If I don’t set it as a child layer of the Image Target, the video plays normally.

Did I do something wrong? Or do I need to modify the code provided by 8th Wall? Could you please give me some guidance?

Hi, welcome to the forum!

Could you land your changes and share your project with the support workspace so I can take a look?
