Continuing the discussion from Why vps scan mesh data and number of mesh are not equal to actual scanning data and scanning count?:
I am too a big fan of VPS and had same questions as in topic above, and have a follow-ups:

so it is not possible to choose a mesh for visual reference? Because for example I’ve made a wide scan of the scene, but what you refered to as “combination data from users“ or “visual reference” is only the 20% of scene mesh, so it is very hard to build experience when 80% of scene content is just missing. And I noticed it affects the VPS orientation too.

It blows my mind but can’t find this button..

So my usual workflow to add mesh was like this: I go to the loaction, open GSB in Scaniverse, find my current location, choose “Add Scans”, scan the mesh and then choose “process later” to do it home on a wi-fi.
But i have suspicion that my scans that i am processing at home are not contributing to the location, is it true?
I can’t find any mention of it, and seems like all such scans are a waste, since there is no way to upload them? -
I test lately this location (id: 9ad01149275f4ce1b036b0f548f717fe.16) and i have constant problems. Now it is that mesh never loads while viewing in GSB and often crashes while in the studio scene. How to deal with it if there is no reactivation and no option to choose displayed mesh?
P.S. Thank you, I love 8th wall and VPS
