I have been doing some testing the Metaversal Deployment for Tap to Place projects. Im noticing that once the project is deployed to a VR headset it shows a phone screen with the prompt tap to place and a button but once the button is clicked using the VR controller nothing happens. 8th Wall - with this project it would seem that you should be able to place objects directly in the real vr space am i misinformed? What am i doing wrong?
Is this a custom project or a sample project you are testing?
This sample project I juste tested on quest 3 and all interactions of tapping to place seem to work as expected:
There are a couple things to keep in mind when needing to add this logic such as having a raycast on the camera and adding the cantap class on ground plane. Can you verify?
Hey Ian im not sure what i was doing, youβre right the tap to place function is now working as expected. Orginally i was using a custom project and that wasnβt working, then I launched the project I referenced and had the same result but now it is working.
