Half of my animation is invisible for some reason

graves.MP4 - Google Drive I built a Vps experience on a statue and attempted to get a graduation cap to fall off of his head. If you click and view this link you can see that the hat is only visible for certain parts of the animation. Do I need to change a lighting setting or is there a different solution?
