Studio: Image target tracking is 'popping' when rotating the phone

I’ve created a scene using image target on a rollup in Studio. The placement is solid and it’s smooth when I ‘pan’ the phone around. But when I rotate the phone (ie. look left or right), the placed 3D scene ‘pops’ its rotation, almost like it has a 5 degrees snap enabled on its rotation.
I’ve looked everywhere, but can’t seem to find anything on this problem.

You can see it here:

It’s especially visible if you look inside the protal.
Is there anything I can do to make it silkysmooth?

Thanks,
Søren

Can you land your changes and share your project with the support workspace so I can take a look at your Image Targets?

I’ve shared it with the support workspace and it’s now pending. My fingers are crossed.
Thanks for your quick reply.

By the way, it acts the same on both newer Android and iOS devices.

I have a showing for the client in a couple of hours, so I have been updating Vein.glb and Animation.glb with small tweaks to animations and material. I’ve also adjusted the intensity of some of the lights a little. Nothing that should affect the scene as a whole.

One thing I have noticed regarding the ‘popping’ when rotating the phone, is that it only becomes a thing when being moderatly away from the tracked image. If way up close the problem disappears and the tracking is smooth.
The problem here is that, since it’s a 2 meter high rollup, you need to be some distance away to properly see the experience. Again the problem is only the rotation of the phone, not the panning around, that results in ‘popping’.

Fingers are crossed here…

It looks like the issue is related to the tracking region of your image target. As you can see in the image below the bottom half of the image has a lot of repeated patterns of the same cell. This is typically considered bad practice when using Image Targets.

My advice is to crop the Image Target so that you eliminate more of the repeated pattern, and do some testing.
