Hi there,
I’m hoping this is just a matter of me missing a detail somewhere. I’ve got the landing-page-studio module in my Niantic Studio project, and I’m attempting to change the layout of the default landing page. Any changes I make in the module don’t seem to update the page in the simulator, I’m wondering if there may be another step I need to do in order to make the changes reflect at runtime?
Cheers
You might need to land and publish your changes.
Hi George,
I tried making a few test changes to the module (pictured), then landing & publishing to staging, but still get the default ‘powered by 8th Wall’ landing screen. Could it be that I’m looking in the wrong place in terms of what I’m changing?
Ah! That’s the Splash Screen not the Landing Page.
For example, the Landing Page would show up if you had your experience set to be only available on mobile devices and you accessed it from a computer.
Hope that clears it up.
Ah gotcha! Thanks for the clarification. A couple of follow-ups -
- How do we set the experience to only work on mobile?
- Do we currently have the functionality to change the splash screen?
If you click on the Camera in your hierarchy you should be able to change which devices are allowed in the inspector.
The Splash screen can’t be customized or changed for Studio projects at this time.
