Hi everyone, for a while now, we are experiencing issues with uploading scans to a private location.

We connected the Scaniverse app to the 8th wall acount by scanning a dedicated QR code from a VPS Niantic Studio project. I could see the private location and create a scan of the location, but after uploading the scan (I got Upload Success popup), the scan did not show up at the location at GSB (I tried doing multiple scans throughout a couple of days to see if there is any propagation delay, but even after 3 days I could not see any scans at the location)
Could you please check if the setup I did was correct and what could be the issue? -
I also tested the Test Scan functionality. I created two test scans and got the VPS: Activated status for them. I was able to upload them into the Studio and when testing in the Preview panel, everything works (the child gameobjects appear, the event of
locationfound
is fired)
However, when testing the tracking onsite, thelocationfound
is never fired and neither the gameobjects under the location appear.
Could the reason the test scan is not working be that the physical location of my device is slightly different (±15 meters) from the test location on the map in the GSB? Is there a way to convince the VPS that I am at the correct scan location?
