I did some more testing today, and I still have some problem with a black background when creating a new project with Studio and using a camera type World/AR.
Here is how you can reproduce this problem:
- Iβm cloning Studio: World Effects project
- I remove everything (ground + cactus) and only keep the camera/light elements
- I add a new empty object
- On this new empty object I add a new component Mesh > geometry > splat URL and I select my .spz file
- I build and connect a new device for testing

This file.spz is the same file I used in my experience I shared above The Secret Shrine.
This Secret Shrine experience is now working as expected but when creating a new project with a spz file, I still encounter the black background problem with a camera type World/AR.
